  Math We are learning about multiples, factors, prime numbers, and composite numbers.   Science We are finishing up our sky science unit and are moving on to evidence and investigation. We are starting by learning about observations and inferences and using them in a variety of circumstances. Social We have been learning about the role of local government in our community. After creating our own model community, we used Google maps to research hamlets, villages, towns, and cities in Alberta. We then wrote three paragraphs about the services and events we feel are important in communities. We also wrote about what makes a good elected representative.  Thank you to all the students and parents who met with me at parent-teacher conferences. If Parents were not able to join us or would like to arrange another time to meet, they can always reach out and we will work together to find a convenient time.  It's been an exhilarating week filled with exploration and discovery in our classroom. Let's dive into the highlights of our journey through various subjects: Science: Our young scientists have been hard at work delving into space research. They've dedicated their time to crafting informative and engaging slide shows about objects in our solar system, which they'll be presenting next week.  We also started reviewing and will be preparing for upcoming unit quizzes.
